Tricot Works – Local Dutch Knitters

INSPIRED BY LOCAL KNITTERS

Taking inspiration from the local textile industry, I named the brand TRICOT WORKS as a tribute to the historic ‘De Tricot’ building

Tricot Works is an online-only knit boutique. I provide genuine craftmanship directly to you from my own knitting machine.

As the founder of Tricot Works, I am passionate about crafting authentic and high-quality knits. I draw inspiration from my hometown in the Netherlands, which has a rich history of textile manufacturing, and I pay homage to this tradition through my work.

Tricot Works is both a small-scale brand and a manufacturer, allowing me to take great care in creating each item with attention to detail.

Sourced in Europe

I source my yarns from European spinners and make most things in-house using DIY methods. To minimize waste, I reuse packaging and print my own swing tags on an old letterpress. At Tricot Works, my mission is to offer customers the opportunity to own a piece of authentic craftsmanship, while being transparent about the building process and values that go into the final product
